Our history
The Excelling Schools for Great Kids was established in 2013 as a playhouse and pre-nursery, also providing after school services to the local community.
It became a preschool in 2015 and included the elementary section in 2020.
It is known for personalised child care and for reaching seemingly misunderstood children.

Every child that has passed through our system are known to be confident, groomed and versatile in knowledge. They quickly blend into any environment and excel in different areas. .
Our rich curriculum ensures that our graduates always make us proud even those who have relocated abroad.

Our community
Excelling Schools is located in a quiet estate located 1.5km from the prestigious Lagos Business School and a little over 3km from Novare Mall.
Our school community is warm and friendly and without bias or discrimination of any kind. Our children are always happy to be in school and get to learn in comfort and calm. We promote respect and love and encourage parents to be part of their children’s learning journey.
We often hold Parent teacher conferences and have special occasions throughout the school year where parents and other family members are welcome to attend and participate in. These include The annual Mothers Day Tea Party, Fathers’ Day Ball, Sports and Activities Day and Community Christmas Carols
Excelling Schools regularly organizes programs for indigent children in our local communities including toys and reading books giveaway and school fees sponsorship
Health & Safety
Your child’s health and safety are our top priority. Our centers have strict guidelines for cleanliness and security and we are constantly reviewing and improving on our systems.
We have dedicated cleaning staff and equipments and a sanitizing spray machine. The children are also taught to follow simple health and safety rules and emergency drills.
- All staff are trained in first aid and fire safety
- We have a stocked first aid box and recommended fire extinguishers within and outside the school building
- The school is fenced and gated and access is restricted to cleared visitors
- Children are always supervised indoors or out
- Classrooms and furniture are well planned within the school space
- A sign out system for children going home whether they are picked up by parents or dropped off by the school van.
